Who works with Folktale?

Accepted Answer

We work with program teams, community organisations, NGOs, government agencies and evaluators. Folktale is for people who need to understand what's happening in their programs and share the results with communities, partners and funders.

Question 3

How do we work?

Accepted Answer

You can use Folktale yourself or work with our team for extra support. Collect stories and feedback, explore what they tell you, and create reports. We can help you plan your approach, support your team and make sense of the findings.

How can I get started?

Accepted Answer

Create a free workspace and start with a small project. Add some background information, collect responses and explore the findings. If you'd like help deciding where to start, talk to our team.

You can collect stories and feedback as video, audio and written responses, alongside survey answers. Mixed method collection means you can bring qualitative and quantitative evidence together in one place.

Accepted Answer

No. Participants can respond from a link on their phone or computer, so it's easy for people to share their experiences wherever they are.

Question 7

Folktale supports collecting responses in multiple languages. If your program works in a specific language, talk to our team to check it's covered.

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add documents and background information to give context to your project. If you have larger datasets to bring in, talk to our team about the best approach.

A Gap Analysis looks at the evidence you already have and shows where the human stories are missing. It then recommends what to collect next to fill those gaps.

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can create a free workspace and run a small project to see how Folktale works for you, with no credit card needed.

When you outgrow the free plan, we will work with you to design the implementation and consulting services you need and upgrade your workspace to a paid plan.

Accepted Answer

Speak to sales to discuss pricing on nonprofit software subscriptions. Consulting and services are typically not eligible for discounts.

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer training and implementation support so your team can confidently collect, analyse and report on stories and feedback.
